What is the venue's capacity?
Chateau Laverdines offers large spaces to accommodate your events. The main building spans over 2,000 m² and includes:
- 4 spacious reception rooms, each over 50 m²
- 2 dining rooms
- A range of flexible spaces allowing you to comfortably welcome your guests
Outside, the estate opens onto a landscaped park of over 12 hectares, ideal for organizing cocktails, ceremonies, activities, or outdoor reception areas.
Can we organize an outdoor event?
Yes. The tree-lined park and outdoor spaces of the château offer magnificent settings for ceremonies, cocktails, or activities.
Until what time can we have music?
There is no time limit for indoor music.
For outdoor events, to respect the neighbors, we ask that the sound level be kept reasonable from midnight onwards.
Can we bring our own vendors?
Yes. You are free to choose your own vendors (caterer, DJ, decorator, etc.). We can also recommend trusted partners if you wish.
Is there a corkage fee?
No, you are free to bring your own beverages for your events.
Accommodation
How many people can sleep on-site?
Chateau Laverdines offers 23 bedrooms spread across three floors, including 2 spacious suites, 15 double rooms, and 6 single rooms, all equipped with private bathrooms. The total accommodation capacity is 42 people, allowing you to host a large group in optimal comfort.
We also have 2 extra beds and 2 baby cots that can be placed in rooms as needed.
Are there additional lodging options nearby?
Yes. Numerous gîtes, guest houses, and hotels are located just minutes from the estate. We can provide you with the contact details of these nearby accommodations.
Is the estate suitable for children?
Yes. Families are welcome. The outdoor spaces allow children to play safely, and the accommodation is perfectly suited for groups with children.
Can we set up tents in the chateau's park?
We do not allow tent installations.
Services & Amenities
What spaces and equipment are included in the rental?
The rental includes access to the entire château:
- The 23 bedrooms equipped with shower gel, shampoo, towels, and hair dryers
- Reception rooms
- Equipped meeting rooms
- Professional kitchen
- All outdoor park areas
- Flat-screen/LCD displays and WiFi connection
For seminars, the meeting rooms are equipped with the following materials, included in the rental: flipcharts, connected speakers, notepads, and pens.
Are the bedrooms prepared before our arrival?
Yes. All bedrooms are prepared before your arrival: beds are made and spaces are ready to use. End-of-stay cleaning is also included in the rental.
Is there a professional kitchen with all necessary equipment?
Yes, there is a professional kitchen with all the necessary equipment for self-catering (stove, oven, professional dishwasher, food warmer, freezer cabinet, ice maker, etc.) or for accommodating your caterers.
Is there furniture, tableware, or audio/video equipment?
The chateau provides indoor furniture for your stay (tables, chairs, etc.).
Tableware is included for up to 42 people. For weddings, tableware is typically provided by your caterer or an external vendor.
Standard audio/video equipment for meetings is provided, but professional event equipment (advanced sound systems, lighting, production equipment, etc.) is not included.
Are there games on-site?
Yes, we have indoor games (foosball, ping pong table, board games, etc.) and outdoor games (soccer balls and goals, bicycles, Molkky, etc.) that are included in the rental.
Do you offer coordination or support services?
The chateau does not offer internal coordination services, but we can recommend wedding planners, coordinators, or organizers who are accustomed to working on-site.
Access & Logistics
How do we access the estate?
Chateau Laverdines is easily accessible by car. Here are the different transportation options:
- Nérondes train station: 10 minutes by car
- Bourges train station: 30 minutes by car
- Nevers train station: 30 minutes by car
- Orly Airport: 2h30 by car
- Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport: 2h50 by car
Is there parking on-site?
Yes. Private parking is available for guests and participants.
Is the chateau accessible to people with reduced mobility?
We do our best to welcome all visitors. Please contact us to verify accessibility based on your event and specific needs.
Can equipment or products be delivered to the chateau before the event?
Yes. It is possible to have decoration, beverages, equipment, or any other items delivered prior to your event, on weekdays during business hours, provided you notify us sufficiently in advance.
Booking & Terms
Can we visit the chateau before booking?
Yes, visits are by appointment. They allow you to discover the spaces, outdoor areas, and accommodation to help you envision your event.
How does the booking process work?
The booking is confirmed after signing the quote and paying the first deposit. The balance is then paid according to the terms specified in the quote.
What are the cancellation terms?
Cancellation terms vary depending on the type of event. They are clearly indicated in the general terms and conditions of sale to ensure complete transparency.
